Made from British 52100 carbon steel. This Gyuto features a forged distal taper with a brute de forge finish and a dark etch to give it a stealthy appearance. The spine and choil have been rounded to ensure comfort whilst using the pinch grip. The octagonal handle was sculpted from a beautiful piece of locally and sustainably sourced brown oak. All of our handles are finished with a food safe mineral oil and beeswax to protect the natural wood.
Inspired by traditional Japanese knives, the Gyuto is a multipurpose chef’s knife which can be used on a variety of ingredients. The profile of the blade is ideal for precise and intricate cuts and can be used to perform many different cutting techniques.
